Marcopolo Suites Calafate boasts a fantastic location, conveniently situated near numerous bars, restaurants, and shops, as well as the bus terminal and Main Street. During our stay, we enjoyed lunch at the nearby Eat, where the fast food options were delightful. Our single room featuring two double beds perfectly suited our needs, and the price of GBP 61 was quite reasonable for the experience.

Had a really great stay, the hotel is pretty standard and quiet.
Warm room, absolutely perfect, had a sparkling clean bathroom. The bed was exceptionally comfortable; and there was a bath. Location: the hotel was just off the centre to the main street where the most bars, restaurants and shops are situated in about 10-15 minutes and the glacier park.

The location of this hotel is great and very convenient, especially since it's close to the bus terminal. the room we had was quite spacious, featuring four beds, and the bathrooms were really clean. a comfortable stay! 😊.

Great and friendly staff, room is decent and clean, nice area to relax, watch tv and clean kitchen. I recommend this for any backpacker and a not so picky couple or family. It worth the money you pay there!
Its a 10-15min walk from downtown.

The customer service here was excellent. We stayed at a time where the border crossing to Chile was suddenly closed and we had to change all our reservations and make lots of new reservations. The staff spent at least 3 hours helping by making calls to the right people and finding phone numbers. The hostel itself was also very nice- as others have commented, at first glance it looks like you are miles out of town, bit its only 5 minutes walk. Room is 3.5 star hotel quality and good value for money.
My only (very minor) critisism is that the short walk into town is on a rather dusty and unpaved road, this might be off putting for some people, but wasnt really a problem for us.

The 10 to 15 minute down-/uphill walk to/from the city center is a bit long if you're doing it several times a day

Excellent Hotel / Hostel. Beautiful spacious rooms, some with views of the lagoon. The hotel is 10 mins walk to the center.
